The Nepalese Whiskered Bat also known as the Nepalese Whiskered Myotis, is a small insectivorous bat found across South and Southeast Asia, including Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, and parts of Southeast Asia. It occupies a variety of habitats, from lowland forests to hilly and montane regions, and is often seen near human settlements.

This bat has soft, dark brown to grayish fur with a lighter underside and a slender body. It gets its name from the fine whisker-like hairs around its face. With a wingspan of about 20–25 cm, it is agile in flight and feeds on a variety of small flying insects.

Nepalese Whiskered Bats typically roost in caves, tree hollows, and buildings, often forming small colonies. They are nocturnal and play an important role in controlling insect populations.
